Kestrel has considerable experience working with leading hotel chains and international resorts and destinations. On the hotel side, clients include the QMH, Intercontinental and Thistle hotel chains, for which we have successfully provided event, internal communications and media relations services.
We have also worked with international resorts and attractions such as the Cuisnart Hotel & Spa in Anguila and Discover Scuba in Egypt.
Generally resorts have to employ two agencies to deal with their communications needs for two different markets - customers and sellers. However, we offer a one-stop shop providing expertise in both public relations and marketing.
The importance of editorial cannot be underestimated. Independent third party endorsements provided by editors and journalists can add significant weight to a resort's credibility and is the perfect compliment to other marketing efforts.
However, the tour operators and agents responsible for selling your resort are also of considerable importance. Agents who cannot speak knowledgeably about resorts will not be able to sell effectively even if the customer has seen positive press coverage.
Kestrel maintains regular contact with these agents on our clients' behalf, organising product training sessions and educational trips to compliment the media relations' activities - ensuring that awareness and bookings are significantly increased.
