Case Study: TBM Consulting Ltd.
Brief: TBM Consulting
Inc. is a US firm specialising in providing consultancy to the
manufacturing industry. The company had a UK office but the awareness
of TBM among UK manufacturers and journalists was poor. Our brief
was to help position TBM Consulting as ‘thought leaders’
in their field – creating an environment in which journalists
would turn to TBM for cutting edge thinking and comment. This
was part of an international campaign to create the optimum environment
for TBM to achieve sales.
Activity: Kestrel focused
on building relationships with all levels of media. Key journalists
were invited to TBM seminars and interviews were arranged with
the CEO whenever he was in the UK. In addition to this we proactively
maintained contacts with the key manufacturing editors to identify
opportunities for by-lined article placements and speaking engagements.
Results: TBM Consulting
in the UK now enjoys good relations with the key manufacturing
and engineering publications in the UK. TBM are regularly asked
for input into articles or to contribute their own. In addition,
TBM's CEO has been placed as keynote speaker at two leading manufacturing
exhibitions that resulted in strong business leads. Despite massive
competition in their field in the UK TBM Consulting Inc. has received
media attention well in advance of many of its rivals.
