Case Study: Major European lighting manufacturer

Brief: To maintain the reputation of the company and its product after the discovery of a potentially dangerous fault in a light bulb.

Activity: Within a few hours Kestrel formulated plans and the complete strategy for a European product recall via its Worldcom partners in 11 different countries. The communications based approach involved customers, the trade, the public and statutory bodies.

Result: The prompt action that was taken prevented any problems and secured – even heightened – the company's European reputation.
